Produced in Catalonia, Spain, from young organic Merlot wine, this vibrant balsamic red wine vinegar retains the grape's deep purple-red colour and fresh fruit character. Approximately 35% organic grape must balances its 6.5% acidity, creating notes reminiscent of wild berries, strawberry, cherry and jam with a smooth bittersweet finish. It is made without barrel ageing and is well suited to vinaigrettes, marinades, reductions, roasted vegetables, fruit and desserts. Natural sediment may occur.
